My artistic practice explores the fusion of photography, abstract painting, and installation. I love to explore topics of authenticity, the subconscious and unconscious, dreams, and ephemerality.
Photography is my way of expressing emotion and authenticity. It allows me to capture ephemeral moments in time and reveal the true essence and individuality of people and places. I often focus on candid interactions, highlighting the often-overlooked elements of emotion and identity in these moments. Through painting, I engage with concepts of movement and intuition by exploring the materiality of paint. Over the last few years, I have been experimenting with creating double-sided paintings on unprimed raw canvas and hope to continue doing so in the future.
By combining these elements using installation, projection, and sound, I aim to create an immersive space that evokes a sense of reflection and allows viewers to find elements that resonate with them within their subconscious and unconscious.
